The dense forest is marked by a horseshoe. The direction of the horseshoe indicates the direction to take.

Caution: the levels of Sauvaget and Jaulard fords vary according to the season, activity of the dam and heavy rain.
The footbridge of Sauvaget ford is closed to horses. It is reserved fo pedestrians/
On the Pissotte side, the passage is narrow at the exit or entrance of the ford.
This trail is very steep.
In cases where the fords are impassable, a detour was planned (in blue on the printable map) upon reaching the GR du Pays de Mélusine trail.
